General Notes (Husband)
"of Concord" He settled within the present limits of Bedford (atleast taht part of Bedford was created from Concord), where his descendants yet live. His farm was on the back road from Concord to Bedford, abt three miles from Concord, on the edge of the river meadow.
He bought in 1696 family homestead in west part of BEdford, then Concord. STill in family possession. This family longlived, noted for good health, and prominent in history of the church and the town.
Freeman 3/21/1690
His name sometimes appears on the Concord records but he took little part in public affairs. In his deeds he styles himself husbandman and yeoman.
Ancient deeds to his property produced by a descendant who lived there, show that he was still living March 15, 1714 and had already settled most of his land on his sons.
I have from Dolor Davis genealogy that date of his death and place of burial are unknown. From somplace else I had a death date that made no sense as some of his chilren weren't yet born.
