General Notes (Husband)

John was a farmer, and settled at Wallingford. John Doolitle was an early proprietor of Wallingford.

His mother died when he was 7.

John was a farmer, adn settled at Wallingford. In 1686 he was issued a grant of land in Wallingford for service in the Indian War.

More grants and purchases of land. He also inherited the dwelling house and land adjoining it, of father in law John Peck, whose land adjoined John's on the west.

He must have ended up quite prosperous.

The exact date of his death is unknown. Van Kempen thinks probably between 1728 and 1731.


General Notes (Wife)

Mary's mother, Mary Moss, was the sister of Abigail Moss who married her husband's father Abraham Doolittle.
