an Entomologist specializing in economic entomology at Cornell from 1934.
BS Massachusetts STate Coll 1920, Ms U of Kanasas in 1922, PhD from U of Kanasas 1926. National Research Fellow at U of Minnesota 1928-9. Assistant prof at U of Kansas 1923-8. Buried from Congregational Church, from Wagner Funeral Home, Ithaca.

He died at Sayre PA, after an unspecified two month illness; but was
a resident at Ithaca and a professor at Cornell at the time.

Described by head of his department as having a cheerful manner and a deep interest in entymology.
