I have from one source, prob Rootsweb Genconnect, that in addition to Mary Safford, Daniel Killam also married Elizabeth Black. Same source says Elizabeth Black was married twice and she also married Humphrey Gilbert. Black is sometimes given as surname of his spouse who is usually listed as Elizabeth but I do not know the source. I do not yet have a date of death for Humphrey, which would have to be before the date of this supposed marraige in 1679 for her to have married both men. It would not be unusual in that time and place for a woman to have married in succession both of the men whose children then married each other.

Early Kilhams, NEHGR, Oct 1902 says he married three times. Mary Safford, Widow Elizabeth Gilbert, Mary Maxey. Also says children were all by his first wife. I wrote down only four children lsited; Daniel, Thomas, John, Elizabeth.
