General Notes (Husband)
THey had a total of eight children, all born in Ashby. They moved from Worcester to Ashby in May, 1785.
Thre are widespread reports in circulation, my mother and Charles H. Raymond are two sources of it, and I think Samuel Raymond's 1886 genealogy is another, that has Daniel married to Polly Kinsley, and even to Polly Ames. Kinsley is an alternate form of the name Kingsley.
Charles H Raymond's notebook page on this family is stamped DEC 8 1938, with a handwritten note "copied".
General Notes (Wife)
Her identity has been confused like noone else;s; she absolutely WAS not Polly Ames. But Kinsley was an alternate form of the name Kingsley, if it was just a bit late in history for people of English stock in Massachusetts to not be able to even pronounce their names.
Notice the missing "G". This was dropped to show defiance to the King of England who was in disfavor with the Kingsleys.
