Born before the parish register at Billingborough starts.

His wife identified in his will. Edward Dicksinson, prob ghe eldest son, refers toher in his will as his mother. He was a yeoman "engaged in husbandry". "He apparently had the means to educate his sons, for his son William signed the Billingborugh bishop's transcript of 1596/7 as a churchwarden with a firm, well-formed signature." He left hsi wife his best cow, a mare and a foal and half of the househould stuff ex ept a bed, tables and forms in the hall (probably the kitchen). Made her guardian of son William. Plenty of barly and wheat and rye and pease. A parlor. Gesse and pulen in the yard, swine. Stears, mairs, fillies, barlie etc. More than one dublet; he gave one to his son Edward.
