General Notes (Husband)
He was adopted by his uncle, Thomas Allyn, of Middletown, soon after the death of his father, where he resided, and afater his uncle's death (Oct 16, 1688) inherited most of his estate. He was admitted to the first Church, Middletown, by certificate from the church in Windsor, Ct., May 2, ---, but owned the coveant Nov 9, 1668, and was chosen Deacon May 31, 1704.
He was made a deacon in Rev. Jonathan Edwards's church and resided next door to him on King Street, Northampton.
