General Notes (Husband)
A dentist in Florence, Massachusetts, near Northampton. He attended medical school in Denver, and dental school in Baltimore, Maryland.
I have a picture of a mass grave - Northampton? George A Readio and Mary E Allen his wife are first buried there.
He had been president of the YWCA. Dr. Readio possessed a fine tenor voice and for years was identified with the musical interest of hte city, being tenor soloist at different times at the Edwards, First and Unitarian churches.
He had been a member of the Arion quartet and the Northampton Vocal club and was a participant in the musical events at Cosmian hall.
Dr. Readio leaves a widow, Adella (Back) Readio; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Dinsmore of Portland,Maine, adn Marian of Providence; two sons, Roger of New York and Philip of Lawrence, Kansas, a brother, Fred M. of Williamsburg, and a sister, Mrs. Mary E. Howes of Florence.

Dear Dora,
My father was like an older brother for his Redio nieces and nephews, and I grew up well cared for by my Aunt Dell Readio and Frank, Roger and Marian. They are no longer around, so I welcome a chance to meet other Readio people.
You may already have some of this data enclosed. It's about all in our files here except recent notes about the Dinsmores. Hope some of it is helpful for you.
George, Arlene and David Readio from Colorado and Kansas were here last year on their trip to the east. I still collect family notes but much of my time is organizing and distributing informaiton in folders collected by my father, Ernest. Preparing charts, etc has been interesting.
