The Farmington town records are spotty in the period of James' marriage to Rebecca and the births of his children. The original book fell apart literally to dust, from age, in the 18th century, before they could get all of the records copiedinto a new book.

Thomas lived in Farmington. Wives are from "Family of Thomas Bird".
