Joseph was born in New Haven in Jan 1641, baptized tehre in Jan 17 1641, married Sarah ___ and abt 1662 settled in Esat Saybrook CT, afterwards in 1667 incorporated into the town of Lyme, and died in Lyme Nov 25 1718, where his wife also diedSept 14 1726 ged 90. He was a prominent man in Lyme, being many years a townsman, Surveyor, Recorder, Justice of the Peace, adn Deacon of the Church.
