He is no longer believed to be John's and William's brother though he was probably closely related to them. He settled next to them in Salem. He was a mariner. In Slaem from May 14, 1634, propr 1636, town officer. Deeded land in 1668 to son in law Oliver Mannering. He and wife Judith were dismissed to chh of Seabrook in 1662.
