Eliza A. HOMMER DeARMOND died 29 Mar 1867 after just over 2 years of marriage with James Thomas DeARMOND. Seven months later, on 26 October 1867, Eliza's 17 year old baby sister Amanda married James. If Eliza and James had a baby around 1865-67, FindAGrave.com has no record of the child.

Amanda HOMMER DeARMOND was about 18 when she married her older sister, Eliza's husband. Eliza had died 29 Mar 1867 after just over 2 years of marriage, and Amanda married James on 26 Oct 1867. Amanda and James divorced about 1880.

Children with James DeARMOND: Eliza Alice (William Cross), Emma Mae (Samuel B. Douglass), Clarence Wilson (Addie Knollman), Pearl M. (Clayton McQuiston), and Charles Hommer (Mae Sheehan, Adrene Guckin).

Charlie "Hummer" DeARMOND played professional baseball (3rd baseman) for the 1903 Cincinnati Redlegs. Player page from Baseball-reference.com.
