Dan R. GEORGE obituary
GEORGE, Dan R., 55, of Lebanon, passed away at his home Thursday, February 28, 2008. Born in Lebanon on July 15, 1952, he was a 1970 Lebanon High School graduate and 1975 OSU graduate with a B.S. in Engineering. After working several years in Illinois & Kansas, he returned to Lebanon in 1982 to join the family business, George Welding. In the early 90�s, Dan created George Manufacturing where he was the owner and president for many years. Dan was an active member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church where he previously served as Trustee & Board Member and participated in the choir & men�s ensemble. He was a Turtlecreek Township Trustee, former Lebanon Chamber of Commerce Board Member and member of the Lebanon Kiwanis, Lebanon Elks, Chet Atkins Society and Lebanon Running Club. Dan loved music, particularly playing the guitar, and enjoyed working outside at his home. Before his illness, Dan participated in several marathons and enjoyed riding off-road dirt bikes. He was an active and vibrant man who will be sadly missed by many. Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years, Gayl (nee: Kimberly) George, his parents, Robert & Phyllis (nee: Harding) George of Lebanon, three devoted daughters, Randi Hammiel (Brian) of Lebanon, Erin George of Mason and Jessie George of Lancaster, two grandsons, Ethan George & Logan Michael Hammiel, one brother, John George of Lebanon, and one sister, Becky Gebhart of Lebanon. He was preceded by one brother, Randy George.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 2nd, 2-4:00 P.M., with services immediately following, all at the Lebanon United Methodist Church. Memorial donations are requested to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, c/o Duke University Medical Center, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710. Arrangements by Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home.

John Cary GEORGE obituary
GEORGE, John Cary, 60, of Lebanon OH died on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Born November 26, 1954 in Lebanon OH to Robert and Phyllis (nee: Harding) George. He was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church, the Lebanon Elks Lodge, Mather's Mill Men's Club, and a Heritage member of the Countryside YMCA. John was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, an active alumni and member of the Fisher College of Business Presidents Club. He was the owner and president of George Steel Fabricating, Inc. in Lebanon Ohio. Preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, Randy and Dan George. Survivors include his father, Robert George, son Nolan George, best friend Amy Cooke, sister Becky Gebhart, sister-in-law Gayl George and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and other family members.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 1:30-3:30 pm with Elks and funeral services immediately following. All will be held at the Lebanon United Methodist Church. Reverend Dillon Staas officiating. Interment follows in the Lebanon Cemetery. Memorials requested to the Caring for Families Campaign c/o the Countryside YMCA.
