FAMILY HISTORY:

Mary Ann George FULTON, fifth and final child (and only daughter) of Martha Dale LEONARD and Tom GEORGE, was born on June 11, 1906 in Hopkins, Nodaway County, MO.

About the time of her birth, Mary Ann's father Tom GEORGE moved to Knowlton, Custer County, Montana to join his brother, Will who was raising his daughter, Beryl (1898-1992) alone, following this wife's death in 1901.

Dan FULTON, son of ???, married Mary Ann GEORGE on 21 February, 1931 in Bison, Perkins Co., SD.

[To date (2012) I am not sure why Mary Ann and Dan were in South Dakota when they married.]
