JOHN and LUCINDA CLINE - photo taken 1900 in Hamilton This is a picture of my Great-Great-Grandparents. John Cline was born in Germany, 1827, died in Hamilton, Butler,Ohio on June 29, 1906. Found the family's surname to be Clinehaben, in John's obiturary. The family also used the name Cline. John married Lucinda Yeargan/Yergin on October 29, 1860, in Hamilton, Butler, Ohio. Lucinda was born in Ohio, daughter of George Yeargan/Yeargin and Elizabeth Allred/Allread, on September 16, 1840, she died September 7, 1923, in Hamilton, Butler, Ohio. Both are buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio | ||

Hamilton Daily News - September 8, 1923 Mrs. Lucinda Cline Mrs. Lucinda Cline died at 9:00 Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Phillip Nash, at the age of 82 years, 11 months, and 20 days. Her husband preceded her in death 20 years ago. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Mary Turman of Oxford, Ohio, Mrs. Phillip Nash, Mrs. Clara Harmon of Hamilton, Ohio. One son John, also of Hamilton, 2 brothers George and Mathew Yearyer, of Richmond, Indiana. 19 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the daughters, Mrs. Nash on North Second St., Monday afternoon at 2:00. Rev. Young officating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. |
