Michigan Bed and Breakfasts

* Boyne Mountain Lodge is right next to the Boyne Mountain Ski Area, and their Alpine and Monument Golf Course is on-site. The Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark is a new addition. Golf, tennis, and skiing are on-site.

* Mountain Run at Boyne is a ski resort for skiiers of all skill levels. Or go snowboarding, tubing, ice skating, and snow shoeing. In spring and summer, you may be more interested in two championship golf courses. Year round, the heated outdoor pool, indoor hot tub, spa, and shopping attract visitors looking for a scenic mountain village get-away.

* The Mountainside Inn and Recreational Rentals are adjacent to Boyne Mountain, and near 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. This vacation rental is for groups up to 20 - in winter only. You can rent boats and snowmobiles. Full kitchens are available. Skiing and hot tub are on-site, and restaurants are nearby.

Mackinaw City

* Mackinaw City features great views of Lake Huron and the Mackinac Straits. See the Big Mackinac Bridge. History buffs should plan a stop at Fort Michillmackinac, nearby. Take a ferry ride to Mackinaw Island. Spend some time at the beach. Plan a daytrip to see the Soo Locks and take a boat tour, about an hours drive. The Grand View Resort has fishing on site. The Super 8 Motel not only has fishing on site, but beach area and golf.

* Mackinac Island may fascinate you with options of staying in the Chippewa Hotel with the Mackinac Island State Park, walking trails, biking, horseback riding, carriage rides, and historic landmarks. Also shopping and Fort Mackinac, nearby.
