Gary Barnes, class of 1959, remembers the old High School in 1950 before the Walter Shade Elementary School opened, and when grades 1-12 were all in the same building.
"Taylor Gluth was principal of the grade school (third floor) at the High School, (not Moraine) when I came to WC in 1950, the Third grade. I don't remember when he left.
Grade school was on the top floor
High School was on the middle floor
Jr High 7,8,9 was in the basement
Gluth was Grade School Principal
Harry Russell High School Principal
