Michael and Barbara Wagemann are listed as the parents of Frederick Wagaman b. 8/15/1780 in York County, PA.  I am attempting to confirm whether or not the following findings relate to the father of Frederick.  Any insight will be appreciated.

Early Wagaman Family History relates that Frederick was raised by Henry & Cecelia Eck, mentioned as parents above by LDS.  Frederick married their daughter, Regina.  .
Frederick appears on St. John's Lutheran membership on 4/15/1798.  He would be 18.
A Mar. Marg. WAGEMANIN (exact spelling) appears on St. John's Lutheran
membership in November, 1798.
