website has a database of many vessels registered in Milford. Local
newspaper transcriptions referring not only to fishermen and trawler
owners or managers, but also to dock workers, policemen,
magistrates, solicitors, vicars, doctors and relations of crew
members. It may also of use to local historians, who can now search by place and street names, occupations and specific dates. |

It contains all those currently identified, by the National Library of Wales, where the location of registers is known. Each entry gives the OS National Grid Reference and name of the church or chapel, if known, (religious denomination), parish, county code and (page name). | . |
Whitchurch area. 1840 Tythe map which includes Solva. It has a schedule with landowners, occupiers, name and description of premises - very limited, state of cultivation, quantities in statute measures and amount of rent/charge. Some of it is difficult to read. Llanfyrnach Parish Lore by ET Lewis of
Mynachlog-ddu printed by CI Thomas of Haverfordwest. A
comprehensive parish history of 143 pages with photos ,
contains all sorts of snippets relating to the churches,
schools, industry, tradespeople, place-names, incomes, prices,
etc. and 18 pages of brief biographical notes on selected
individuals, mostly from the 19th and early 20th centuries,
including 19 Davieses. There is a list of 18th century
tradespeople and there are a lot of passing references to people
taken from vestry books, monuments, etc.
