Pete and Clophia Spencer

Orbra Lee “Pete” Spencer was born in 1904 and passed away on November 12, 1970. He is buried in Locust Hill Cemetery in Evansville IN. Pete and Clophia (Young) Smith were married in 1924. They were the parents of 5 children, Bonnie Jean, Helen, Mary Lou, Claudine, and Frank. After Clophia passed away in 1961, Pete remarried Etta Jordan.

Mary Lou Spencer

Mary Lou was born in March 1929. She married John Thomas “Tom” Monks and they were the parents of 8 children: Joyce, Linda, Sheila, TJ, Ray, Steve, David, and Tony. Mary passed away on August 23, 1995 and is buried in Tupman Cemetery in Evansville IN. Tom passed away in Spring of 2002.

Helen Loraine Spencer

Helen married Herbert Lehman, brother of Leroy Lehman who married to her sister June. Helen and Herb had no children. Helen was born on November 27, 1927 and passed away on November 28, 2000. Herb passed away in April of 1997. They are both buried in Locust Hill Cemetery in Evansville IN.

Claudine Spencer

Claudine was born on October 24, 1931 to Clophia and Pete Spencer. She married James Wallace on September 24, 1956. They were the parents of 6 children: Melody, Helen “Susan”, James Jr “Jimmy”, Shirley, Ronnie and Claudia. Claudine passed away on February 13, 2001. She and James are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville IN.

Franklin Spencer

Frank Spencer was born to Clophia and Pete Spencer. He is married to Darlene and they have 2 sons, Brandon and Travis. Frank moved to South Carolina where he still lives today.
