*Error on Monument ~ Elizabeth (Ingram) Fancher was between 37 and 43 years old when she died, not 32.  She was born 1810-1820.

**Error on Monument ~ Sarah G. and Margaret A. Fancher were twins, born in 1849.  They both would have been the same age  when they were killed.

The following children survived and were returned to their families in northwest Arkansas in September 1859:

At least one other survivor remained in Utah*

*Although there had been rumors, there has never been any evidence found to support the story that one survivor remained in Utah.

** These are the Fancher childrens' ages in  1857, at the time of the Massacre.  Kit Carson Fancher was probably 4 years old at that time, and was 6  years old when he was returned to his family in Arkansas two years later.
