FARMINGTON--Mrs Emma Lovesy Pearce, 85, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs George A Bourne, in Farmington.
Mrs Pearce was born in England Feb 2, 1848, a daughter of John and Ann Walton Townsend. She came to Utah in the early sixties with her parents after joining the Church in their native land, crossing the plains with the handcart company.
She was married to the late Henry Lovesy, rearing a family of five children, only two of whom survive her. After the death of Mr Lovesy, she married Charles Pearce who later died.
In addition to her two daughters, Mrs Rachel D Hollist and Mrs Bourne, both of Farmington, she is survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday at 1 pm in the North Farmington ward chapel under the auspices of Bishop Geroge A Welling.
