Mrs. A.J. Fulton Dies at Home Here
Mrs. A.J. Fulton died early this morning at her home, 210 E Jackson. She had been in ill health for a considerable period of time.
Mrs. Fulton was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and came to Iola in 1895 with here husband. She has made her home here since then. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian church, a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Royal Neighbors and other women's organizations.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Lola H. Mathews, Tulsa, and Mrs. Shirley Novak, Kansas City, a son, Howard C. Wheaton, Montevideo, Uruguay, who is now in Iola on a visit, and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday in the Presbyterian church. The Eastern Star service will be used. The Rev. T. M. Shellenberger will officiate. Burial will be in Highland cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Waugh Funeral home until the hour of the services.
