North of Jeffersonton on Route 622 stands a large L-shaped,
modified Colonial frame house.
Built by John B. Armstrong in 1840 it remained in the same
family until 1948.
Ceilings are high, and the staircase handsome. Cannon ball
holes remain in the house, a result of Civil War Action.
