2. Ralph2 Baker (Father1) was born in Feb 1822 at Schuyler Township, Washington County?, New York. He married Emma (Eliza) Smith, daughter of Orrin Smith and Weltha Johnson, on 9 Oct 1856 Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He died on 6 Aug 1902 at Olean, NY, at age 80. He was buried on 8 Jul 1902 at Oak Hill Cemetary, East Bradford, McKean County, PA.
Census 1860 Oh, Sandusky Co., Fremont, Carpenter. Census 1870 PA, Venango Co., Cornplanter, Oil City, Supt of Oil Wells. Census 1880 PA, McKean Co., Kendall, work on wells. He lived in 1883 at Moved to Olean, from Bradford, PA. Census 1900 NY, Cattaraugus Co., Olean City, Rented 116 South Second St., Selma Johanson, b NY living with them as servant.
Emma (Eliza) Smith was born on 30 Aug 1834 at New York. She died on 18 May 1904 at Olean, NY, at age 69. She was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, McKean County, Bradford, PA. Census says Eliza, Perley says Emily, 1889 City Directory says Emma.  Birth date 1844 per death certificate, 1834 per 1900 census.

5. Ernest Ralph3 Baker (Ralph2, Father1) was born on 20 Jun 1871 at Petroleum Center, Cornplanter Township, Venango County, PA. He married Harriet Augusta Perley, daughter of Francis Macartney Perley and Priscilla Augusta La Fetra, on 23 Jul 1901 Franklinville, NY, Cattaraugus County. He died on 7 Aug 1946 at Olean at age 75. He was buried in 1946 at Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville, NY.
He was haberdasher Baker & Gelder, 136 N. Union, Olean, NY. Census 1920 NY, Cattaraugus, Olean, Harry Gilmore, age 37, born Wisconsin, living with them as roomer. In 1883 Came to Olean. In 1888 104 Clinton St., occupation clerk. He lived in 1920 at 417 West Sullivan, Olean. In 1946 Rev. Henry S. Sizer, officiated at funeral Church of the Ascension, Bradford, PA.
Harriet Augusta Perley was born on 20 Apr 1869 at Girard, PA. She died in 1962 at Olean, NY. She was buried at Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville, NY.  She was teacher of 7th grade, School 3, lived on North First Street. She lived in 1962 at 9 Franklin St., Olean, 2001 trip couldn't find, area now industrialized.

6. Philip DeWitt4 Baker (Ernest3, Ralph2, Father1) was born on 13 Feb 1904 at Olean, NY, Cattaraugus County. He married Mary Hurford Calder, daughter of Stewart Wilson Calder and Frances Hurford Herzog, in Jan 1934 Shreveport, Louisiana. He died on 14 Feb 1984 at Bossier City, Louisiana near Shreveport, at age 80. He was buried at Forest Park Cemetery, Shreveport.
Philip DeWitt Baker lived at 351 Janie Lane, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71106. He was employee of Exxon. He was educated in 1926 at Cornell, Mechanical Engineering, see Cornellian, 1926. He lived in 1941 at 1324 E. 20th St., Tulsa.
Mary Hurford Calder was born on 25 Feb 1908 at Roanoke, VA. She died on 12 Mar 1989 at Shreveport, Louisiana, at age 81. She was buried at Forest Park Cemetery, Shreveport. Met husband in Houston. She was educated at attended Margaret Hall in Versailles, KY. Charter member Junior League, Shreveport. In 1941 moved to Tulsa.
