He was Sheriff of Prince William Co., Justice of Fairfax.

She married John (Capt.4) Wright, son of John (3) Wright Sr. and (--?--) Dorothy, circa 1727 Richmond Co., VA. She died after 1785.

• +  28  iv.   John (5) Wright Jr. was born circa 1731 at 'Leesylvania", Prince William. He married Ann Williams, daughter of Jonas Williams and Honour Williams, in 1753.


• +  29  v.   James (Major 5) Wright was born in 1738 at Fauquier. He married Mary Duncan, daughter of Joseph Duncan Sr. and (--?--) Lidya, on 8 Dec 1763 Fauquier Co., VA.


•     30  vi.   Rosamond Wright was born in 1749. She died in 1811 at Fauquier.
  Never married. (shared with Mary) inherited from grandfather John Wright, negros Dinah, Jude, Lidie, Robin, Lucy, Will & Milley. Will on 23 Sep 1811.

15. William (Col.)⁴ Bronaugh (Jeremiah³, William², David¹) was born on 16 Jan 1729/30 at of Louden County. He married Margaret Strother, daughter of Benjamin (Major) Strother and Mary (Mason) Fitzhugh, on 10 Mar 1760. He married Mary Doniphan, daughter of Mott Doniphan and Rosanna Anderson, on 13 Oct 1762. He married Rebecca Craine on 27 Feb 1783. He died in 1800.

•     44  ii.   Ann Darnall was born circa 1739. She married John Weaver, son of Tillman (imigrant) Weaver and Ann Elizabeth Cuntze, circa 1765.


•     45  iii.   Joseph Darnall was born circa 1741. He married Jane Ashby in 1790.


•     46  iv.   Mary Darnall was born circa 1743. She married William Russell on 18 Oct 1771 Fauquier.


•     47  v.   Margaret Darnall was born circa 1745. She married James Sinclair.


•     48  vi.   Susannah Darnall was born circa 1747. She married Augustine Smith Jr., son of Augustine Smith Sr. and Ann "Nancy" Marshall, on 30 Dec 1780 Sec. V, Ch 33. Fauquier.


•     49  vii.   Leannah Darnall was born circa 1751. She married Lewis Ashby on 4 Feb 1778 Sec. V, Ch 33. Fauquier.


•     50  viii.   Catherine Darnall was born circa 1754. She died in 1824 at Germantown, Fauquier.

•     51  ix.   Rosamond Darnall was born circa 1755. She married Thomas Latham after 1795. She died before 1809 at Germantown, Fauquier.

27. William (5)⁴ Wright (Elizabeth³ Darnall, Jeremiah² Bronaugh, David¹) was born circa 1728 at Fauquier. He married Mary Grant, daughter of William Grant Jr, before 1751. He died in 1809 at Bedford, now Franklin Co. VA.
Military service Rev War veteran. He was Blacksmith. Property in 1762 Sold his inherited land. In 1764 moved to in Bedford County. Will on 10 Oct 1808.
Children of William (5)⁴ Wright and Mary Grant were as follows:

•     52  i.   George⁵ Wright died in 1843.


•     53  ii.   William Wright was born at Franklin County, VA. He died in 1830.


•     54  iii.   James Wright was born at Franklin County, VA. He died in 1823.


•     55  iv.   John Wright was born circa 1747 at Fauquier. He died circa 1845 at Franklin County, VA.

28. John (5)⁴ Wright Jr. (Elizabeth³ Darnall, Jeremiah² Bronaugh, David¹) was born circa 1731 at 'Leesylvania", Prince William. He married Ann Williams, daughter of Jonas Williams and Honour Williams, in 1753. He died on 30 Oct 1789 at Surry County, North Carolina.
Military service in 1763 Captain in Fauquier Militia, 1777 enlisted NC regiment. After 1774 Moved to North Carolina, Buck Shoal township, Surry (now Yadkin) County. Will on 8 Oct 1789.
Children of John (5)⁴ Wright Jr. and Ann Williams are as follows:

•     56  i.   Elizabeth⁵ Wright married Samuel Arnold, son of Thomas Arnold and Abigal Wyche, on 5 Sep 1771 Sec V. Ch 33 Fauquier.

29. James (Major 5)⁴ Wright (Elizabeth³ Darnall, Jeremiah² Bronaugh, David¹) was born in 1738 at Fauquier. He married Mary Duncan, daughter of Joseph Duncan Sr. and (--?--) Lidya, on 8 Dec 1763 Fauquier Co., VA. He died before Nov 1812 at Fauquier. He was buried in 1812 at In Kelly/James Cemetery, Bealeton, Fauquier, VA; first Masonic funeral.
Military service 11th & 7th Regiment of Continental Army. He was (an unknown value). Will intestate. In May 1780 captured by British at Charleston, SC.
Children of James (Major 5)⁴ Wright and Mary Duncan were:

•     61  i.   Elizabeth (Betsy)⁵ Wright was born on 1 Feb 1762 at Lancaster Co., VA. She married John Thomas James, son of John (Capt.) James and Dinah Allen, on 28 Jun 1785 Fauquier County, Sec. 5 Ch.33. She died on 28 Feb 1828 at Fauquier Co., VA, at age 66. She was buried at Kelly/James Cemetery, R 28 N. Rt 745 Bealeton.
  Inherited from grandfather John 4 Wright, negro Jinny. She lived in 1815 at Fauquier, 17E. Will on 3 Jan 1828.
