1. Robert¹ Vose was born circa 1599 at Garston, Lancashire, England. He married Jane Moss in 1629. He died on 11 Oct 1683 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA. He was buried at Milton Cemetery, Vose Lot.
On 13 Jul 1654 a "gentleman" of Dorchester, MA when he purchased 500 acres.
Jane Moss died in Oct 1675 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA. She was buried at Milton Cemetery, Vose Lot.

•     2  i.   Edward² Vose was born in 1636. He died in 1716.


• +  3  ii.   Thomas (Capt.) Vose was born before 18 Feb 1639/40 at Prescot of Ditton, Lancashire, England. He married Waitstill Wyatt.

3. Thomas (Capt.)² Vose (Robert¹) was born before 18 Feb 1639/40 at Prescot of Ditton, Lancashire, England. He married Waitstill Wyatt. He died on 23 Apr 1708 at Milton, MA. He was buried at Milton Cemetery.
Military service Served under Capt. Samuel Wadworth 1676-6, King Philip's War, 6/28/1689 commissioned Captain in war against the Indians and 6/3/1690 appointed one of the captains in Expedition to Canada.
Waitstill Wyatt was born before 2 Mar 1644/45 at Of Dorcester, MA. She died on 8 Jan 1727/28 at Milton, MA. She was buried at Milton Cemetery.

•     6  iii.   Thomas Vose was born on 22 Sep 1667.

4. Henry (Lieut.)³ Vose (Thomas², Robert¹) was born on 9 Apr 1663 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA. He married Elizabeth Badcock on 18 May 1686 Boston. He married Mrs. Jemima (Daniels) Tucker on 24 Oct 1733. He died on 26 Mar 1751/52 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA, at age 88. He was buried at Milton Cemetery.
Will on 6 Jul 1733.
Elizabeth Badcock was born on 9 Apr 1663 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA. She died on 18 Nov 1732 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA, at age 69. She was buried at Milton Cemetery.

Mrs. Jemima (Daniels) Tucker died on 11 Feb 1762 at Shrewsbury, MA.
There were no children of Henry (Lieut.)³ Vose and Mrs. Jemima (Daniels) Tucker.

7. Robert (Lieut.)⁴ Vose (Henry³, Thomas², Robert¹) was born on 25 Oct 1693 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA. He married Abigail Sumner on 14 Sep 1721 Milton, Norfolk Co., MA. He died on 20 Apr 1760 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA, at age 66. He was buried at Milton Cemetery.
On 31 Oct 1734 awarded 2 tracts of 100 acres each in Narragansett No. 5 thru grant by MA for services in King Philip's War of his grandfather, Capt. Thomas Vose, became Bedford, NH.
Abigail Sumner was born on 31 Jan 1698/99 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA. She died on 28 Dec 1769 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA, at age 70. She was buried at Milton Cemetery.
Children of Robert (Lieut.)⁴ Vose and Abigail Sumner were as follows:

•     8  i.   Robert⁵ Vose was born on 15 Oct 1723. He married Merriam Vose in 1746. He died in 1773 at Stroughton.


• +  9  ii.   Samuel (Lieut.) Vose was born on 13 May 1730 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA. He married Phebe Vickery.


•     10  iii.   Thomas Vose was born on 3 Feb 1739/40. He married Mary Tucker.
  Mary Tucker was born on 22 May 1745.

9. Samuel (Lieut.)⁵ Vose (Robert⁴, Henry³, Thomas², Robert¹) was born on 13 May 1730 at Milton, Norfolk Co., MA. He married Phebe Vickery. He died on 7 Jun 1799 at Bedford, NH, at age 69. He was buried at Old Burying Ground.
He was taught school in Charleston, SC. Military service Served under Washington.
Phebe Vickery was born on 6 May 1729 at Hull. She died in 1801 at Bedford, NH.
Children of Samuel (Lieut.)⁵ Vose and Phebe Vickery were:

• +  11  i.   Robert (Rev.)⁶ Vose was born on 3 Nov 1762 at Bedford, NH. He married Mehitable Boice, daughter of John Boice and Mehitable Sheafe, on 30 Dec 1785 Goffstown, NH.

11. Robert (Rev.)⁶ Vose (Samuel⁵, Robert⁴, Henry³, Thomas², Robert¹) was born on 3 Nov 1762 at Bedford, NH. He married Mehitable Boice, daughter of John Boice and Mehitable Sheafe, on 30 Dec 1785 Goffstown, NH. He died on 12 Dec 1819 at Berlin, VT, at age 57. He was buried at East View Cemetery, airport, Berlin, VT see photo.
He was Methodist Minister. Military service in 1780 Private in Capt. Thomas Newcomb's company, Col. Ebenezer Thayer's regiment, which went to RI.
Mehitable Boice was born on 17 Aug 1764 at Boston. She died on 9 Feb 1851 at Barre, Vt, at age 86. She was buried at East View Cemetery, airport, Berlin, VT see photo.

•     19  viii.   Phoebe Vose was born on 5 Jul 1786 at Deering, NH. She married Azariah Grant Jr., son of Azariah Grant and Abigail (Crawford) Crofoot, on 31 Dec 1807 Berlin, VT. She died on 7 Nov 1849 at Berlin, Vt, at age 63.
  Azariah Grant Jr was born in 1782 at Berlin, VT. He died on 13 Apr 1825 at Berlin, Vt. Census 1810 1 male 26-44, 1 female 16-25, 1 male <10, 1 female <10, 1 female 10-15? In 1816 trustee of Berlin, Vt.
