Obituary

RUBY EMILY (WARE) BULLINGTON of 1641 second Street, Duarte, California, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 1984 at her home. She was 98 years old.
Ruby Ware was born in Sibley, Iowa on May 9, 1886, and was the daughter of George and Estelle Ware.
On July 4 1905 she was married to Smith M. Bullington in Iowa. Later they moved to South Dakota and farmed in the Miller, Lake Preston, and DeSmet areas.
After her husband's death in 1942, she moved to Pasadena, California, where most of her family lived. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Pasadena.
She spent 25 years in the practical Nursing field, retiring at the age of 82.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great, great-grandmother. Her quick wit, good humor and loving smile will be deeply missed by her friends family and relatives.
Her survivors include one sister, Florence Heinnemann of Park Falls, Wisconsin; six children, Lola Anderson, of Lake Preston, South Dakota, Dale of Solana Beach, California, LaVonne Broadway of LaCrescenta, California, and Charles of Costa Mesa, California; 28 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 6 great, great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were: her husband, Smith; three sons: Earl, George and Donald; and two daughters: Ardyce McGinty and Celia Soren.
Burial will be at the Lake Preston Cemetery. the family invites those gathered to return to the church for a time of fellowship following interment.
