John Ware

John Ware was born May 7th, 1863 in Woodbine, Cooke County, Texas, and died May 31st, 1943 in Gainesville. He was the youngest son of John and Nancy Ware and married Mary Ann Higgason on Apr 12th, 1883 in Woodbine. They had two children, Lucy Jane and John Patterson (Little Pat) Ware.
Lucy Jane Ware was born on October 28th, 1888 in Woodbine. She was married to William Egbert Purcell on Aug 9th, 1911 in Woodbine. Lucy died Apr 2nd, 1971 in Gainesville, Texas and was buried at Fairview Cemetery. W. E. Purcell was born on June 21st, 1878 in Hebron, Collin County, Texas and died Feb 28th, 1946 in Gainesville. He was buried at Fairview Cemetery. Bill and Lucy had two children, a daughter, Billie Lou Purcell and a son, Ware Ewing Purcell.
John Patterson Ware 'Little Pat' was born Jan 22nd, 1893 in Woodbine, Texas and died June 18, 1976 in Dallas He is buried at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. Pat married Alpha Belle Reece June 10th, 1914 in Woodbine. Alpha was born Aug 5th, 1893 and died Apr 29th, 1987 in Gainesville and was buried at Fairview Cemetery. Pat and Alpha had one son, Rad Reece Ware, born Sept 7th, 1919. He died in Dallas, Texas and is buried at Fairview cemetery in Gainesville.
Billie Lou Purcell married William Ira King Jan 4, 1935. His parents were Bill and Wilma King out of Ardmore, Oklahoma. Ira was born Aug 17, 1921 in Daughtry, Oklahoma and died with his oldest son, Billy Ira July 14, 1947 in a plane crash in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
Ira and Billie Lou had four children.
Billy Ira King born May 9, 1935 and died Jul 14, 1947 at the age of 12 in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
Jane Ruth King born and died July 8, 1937 in Gainesville, Texas.
Ira, Billy and Jane Ruth are all buried at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas.
Peggy Anne King born July 29, 1936 in Myra, Texas.
John Ware King was born Aug 31, 1939 in Gainesville, Texas. He married Martha Ray Cole Dec 5, 1959 in Weatherford, Texas. Her parents were Clemmie and Geraldine Blakey Cole. Martha was born July 18, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas. John and Martha had two children, Timothy Ware King born July 9, 1960 in Ft. Worth, Texas and Tracy Lynn King born july 18, 1961 in Fairbanks, Alaska.
John Ware died in Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas and is buried at Fairview cemetery in Gainesville.
