Jonathan Pryor Family Cemetery

It is presumed that Jonathan Pryor, Sr. is also buried in this family cemetery which sits on land formerly owned by the family, but the only stone naming him is a replacement stone that has been added in the recent past. That stone shows an incorrect date of death of 1857, the year that Elizabeth White Pryor died. Jonathan Pryor, Sr. was known to be living in 1860 when that census was taken and had remarried Mrs. Mary Wilson Oliver. It is very probable that he died before 1863 for he is not listed in the Graves County tax lists of that year.
