Descendants of Humphrey Tallman, Loyalist

Humphrey Tallman was born about 1759, probably in Dartmouth, Bristol Co, MA. It is thought he connects with the Tallman family there, and he is noted in Bristol County history as having been there in 1776. By 1790 he was in Noyan, Missisquoi County, Quebec, but it is unknown where he spent those many years in between. He is noted as a Loyalist from America. His first wife was Patience, and she gave him two known children, both girls. His second wife was Sarah Gilphilin/Gilfillan.
