     Amos Alexander was born on 13 January 1729 at Cecil Co, Maryland.1 He was the son of James Alexander and Margaret McKnitt. Amos Alexander married Sarah Sharpe, daughter of Thomas Sharpe Sr and Isabella Wallace, circa 1750 at Cecil Co, Maryland.1 Amos Alexander died on 1 May 1780 at age 51.1
