     Margaret McKnitt was born on 26 December 1696.2 She was the daughter of John McKnitt and Jane Wallace.1 Margaret McKnitt married James Alexander, son of Joseph Alexander and Abigail McKnitt, circa 1714.1,2 Margaret McKnitt died between 1736 and 1744 at Cecil Co, Maryland.2
