     Anthony Derick was born on 25 June 1742 at Siegen, Westerwald, Germany; Birth date comes from the gravestone.1,2 He was the son of Coonradt Derick and Elisabetha Catherina Müller. Anthony Derick married Barbara Brust, daughter of Johannes Jacob Brust and Anna Katherina Wolff, on 28 October 1771 at Albany, Albany Co, New York; Albany Reformed Church.3 Anthony Derick died on 4 February 1817 at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York, at age 74; The gravestone indicates he was aged 74y-7m-10d.2 He was buried at Derrick Cemetery, Centre Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York.2
     Anthony Turk, born Germany, then aged 17 and a labourer, was listed on a muster roll of Capt. Peter Harris's Compant taken at Dutchess County on 1 May 1760.4
