Almeda Sharpe

     Almeda Sharpe was born on 8 August 1826 at Iredell Co, North Carolina.^1,2 She was the daughter of Fieldon Sharpe and Sarah Allen. Almeda Sharpe was born in August 1832 at Iredell Co, North Carolina.³ She married Falls Washington Cloer, son of Roberson Cloer and Margret Lavina Byers, circa 1859 at North Carolina; info from 1900 census Knobs, Yadkin Co, NC. Almeda Sharpe died on 12 December 1924 at Knobs, Yadkin Co, North Carolina, at age 98; The death certificate states she was aged 98 yrs, 3 mos 20 days, and that the death was "sudden".¹ She was buried on 20 December 1924 at Falls Creek Baptist Church, Jonesville, Yadkin Co, North Carolina; The undertaker was E. Hayes of Elkin, NC.¹
