Cloer was born circa 1858; death certificate, Vol 5, page 293 (1919), Vital Statistics Iredell Co. She married John Wickley Tays before 1873.1 Nancy L. Cloer died on 14 August 1919 at Olin Township, Iredell Co, North Carolina; Her obituary says Nancy died at her home in Cool Springs Twp.2 She was buried on 15 August 1919 at South River Baptist Church Cemetery, Iredell Co, North Carolina.
