Lillie Bell Cloer

     Lillie Bell Cloer was born circa 1869 at Iredell Co, North Carolina; Death certificate says she was 68 years old.¹ She was the daughter of Falls Washington Cloer and Almeda Sharpe. Lillie Bell Cloer married John H. Morrison. Lillie Bell Cloer died on 2 January 1937 at Bethany Twp, Iredell Co, North Carolina.¹ She was buried on 3 January 1937 at Houstonville Moravian Church Cemetery, Iredell Co, North Carolina.¹
     She appeared on the census of 8 July 1930 at Statesville, Iredell Co, North Carolina; Bell Morrison was a widow, aged 60, living with her brother, John Ivey Cloer and his family.² Her obituary states that she "died Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock at her home in Bethany township, after a long illness...Mrs. Morrison was the widow of Mr. John H. Morrison who died about twenty years ago. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Dick Lambert and four brothers, J.I., and James Cloer, Edward and Henry Cloer, all of the county."
