Elisabetha Catherina Müller married Coonradt Derick.
Elisabeth is the one who gives us our first clue as to when the family was in the area. Red Hook's Lutheran Church notes that "Elisabeth Catherina, wife of Conrad Turk, and Antonie Turk joined....25 August 1754." Later, we find that "Elisabetha Catherina Müllerin, wife of Conrad Turken, joined the Claverack Reformed Church 17 Sept 1758." And then, Elisabeth Catherina, wife of Conrad Wurken, along with Carl Theobald Wurken, and Johan Anthony Wurken joined the Claverack Reformed Church 29 September 1761.
It is likely that Elisabeth is the sister to Thomas Müller, who also settled Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York. His will was proved dated 2 Jun 1814 and proved there 5 Feb 1816. Another sibling may be Anna Müller who married David Coffinger. Perhaps research in the Westerwald region of Germany near the city of Siegen will bring new light on the Müller family.1
