     Wilhelm Derick was born on 28 October 1744 at Siegen, Westerwald, Germany. He was the son of Coonradt Derick and Elisabetha Catherina Müller. Wilhelm Derick married Margaret Van derWerken on 17 January 1767 at Albany Reformed Church, Albany, Albany Co, New York.1 Wilhelm Derick died on 28 August 1827 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 82.2 He was buried on 30 August 1827 at 3rd Concession Cemetery, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3,2
     He "lease of 100a East Manor farm". on 11 July 1769 at Rensselaer Co, New York.4
