Lewis Lambert

     Lewis Lambert was born circa 1870 at North Carolina.1 He married Cora Lee Sharpe, daughter of William Paley Sharpe and Mary Ann Cloer, after 4 December 1900 at Statesville, Iredell Co, North Carolina; The announcement that a marriage license had been issued to Louis Lambert and Cora Sharpe appeared in the newspaper on 4 December 1900.2 Lewis Lambert died on 18 November 1938 at Statesville, Iredell Co, North Carolina.3 He was buried at Trinity Methodist Cemetery, Statesville, Iredell Co, North Carolina.3
      Lewis Lambert was also known as Louis Lambert. He appeared on the census of February 1920 at Mocksville-Statesville Highway, Statesville, Iredell Co, North Carolina; Louis Lambert, 50, Cora, 38, Lawrence, 15, Everette (dau), 14, Mary N. 10, and a dau (Eva) , 7. His son-in-law, Will Gregory and their family were living with them.4
