Robert Burton Cloer

     Robert Burton Cloer was born on 1 January 1880 at Statesville, Iredell Co, North Carolina.¹ He was the son of John W. Cloer and Mary E. Clodfelter. Robert Burton Cloer married Margaret Nola Rickert on 14 January 1902 at Iredell Co, North Carolina.^1,2 Robert Burton Cloer died on 12 October 1947 at Statesville Hospital, Statesville, Iredell Co, North Carolina, at age 67; Robert and his wife Margaret were residents of Taylorsville, Alexander County at the time of his death.¹ He was buried on 14 October 1947 at Fairview Cemetery, Taylorsville, Alexander Co, North Carolina.¹
