     Barbara Derick was born on 10 March 1787 at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York. She was the daughter of Anthony Derick and Barbara Brust. Barbara Derick was baptized on 25 March 1787 at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York; Gilead Lutheran Church. She married Moses Wagar.1 Barbara Derick died on 29 April 1860 at age 73. She was buried at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York; Wheeler-Derrick Cemetery.
