     Arthur Sidney Bickford was born on 3 August 1878 at Hermon, Penobscot Co, Maine.1 He was the son of Walter Bickford and Lucia Goodspeed. Arthur Sidney Bickford married Ann Sarah Waugh, daughter of Samuel Waugh and Sarah Margaret Bigham, on 11 October 1905 at Framingham, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.2 Arthur Sidney Bickford died on 12 August 1946 at Framingham, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts, at age 68. He was buried at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.3
     He appeared on the census of 9 January 1920 at Framingham, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts; Arthur Bickford was 41, born Maine, wife Annie, 40, and Leonard, 13, both born Massachusetts. They were next door to Wallace Bickford, also born Maine, aged 31, who must have been Arthur's brother. His father-in-law, Samuel Waugh, 75, born Ireland, was living with them.4
