Annie Catherine Sharpe

     Annie Catherine Sharpe was born illegitimate on 10 February 1859 at Iredell Co, North Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Wesley Brack and Harriet Sharpe.¹ Annie Catherine Sharpe married John A. Guy (?), son of Hial Guy, circa 1877 at North Carolina.² Annie Catherine Sharpe died on 8 September 1921 at McAdenville, Gaston Co, North Carolina, at age 62; Her death certificate says her father was Wesley Brack.¹
     She appeared on the census of 30 April 1910 at Gastonia, Gaston Co, North Carolina; Annie C. Guy, 46, James W., 18, William P., 13, Gertie E., 11 and Harriett Scott, 73. Annie had eight children with six still living. It also said she was in her second marriage of four years, but her last name was listed as Guy and no husband in the house.³
