Mary Sharpe was born on 18 April 1794 at Iredell Co, North Carolina. She was the daughter of James Sharpe and Jane Andrews. Mary Sharpe married Curtis Johnson in 1817 at Iredell Co, North Carolina. Mary Sharpe died on 4 October 1882 at Fayette Co, Tennessee, at age 88. She was buried at Somerville, Fayette Co, Tennessee.
