     Marcus Patterson was born on 14 October 1853.1 He was the son of Reuben Patterson and Elizabeth Phillips. Marcus Patterson was baptized on 20 August 1854 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 He married Hattie E.
