     Alice E. Hough was born in June 1867 at Connecticut.2,3 She married Charles H. Scott, son of Robert Scott and Lany Miranda Young, circa 1885 at New York.2 Alice E. Hough died after 1930 at Fitchburg, Worcester Co, Massachusetts.4
     She appeared on the census of 9 April 1940 at Fitchburg, Worcester Co, Massachusetts; Alice was living with her daughter Daisy and husband. It was noted she was divorced.5
