Jeanne Fortier

     Jeanne Fortier married Joseph Pilet, son of François Pilet and Françoise Loisel, on 1 February 1700 at Lachine, Ile De Montreal, Quebec; Joseph's parents were listed as Francois Pillet and Francoise Loysel, of Longueuil, his father being deceased. Joseph was a residenty now of Lachine. Jeanne Fortier was daughter of Louis Fortier and Marie Magdeleine Moison of Lachine. Neither were able to sign. Witnesses included Jean Drapeau Laforge and Toussaint Raymond.¹
