     Antoine Gallipau was born circa 1721.1 He was the son of Jean Baptiste Gallipau and Catherine Jannot.2,3 Antoine Gallipau married Marie Madeleine Raimond, daughter of Toussaint Raimond and Barbe Pilet, on 22 January 1748 at Pointe-aux-Trembles, Quebec; Antoine Gallipau, aged 27, resident of Pointe-aux-Trembles, and Marie Madeleine Reymond, aged 25 of Montreal, were both unable to sign. Both her mother and his father were deceased. His father was present at themarriage.1
