     Sophia Bissell was born on 5 September 1804 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of Randall Mumford Bissell and Elizabeth Derick. Sophia Bissell married Abraham Salls, son of Hix Salls and Mary Briggs, on 13 August 1821 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 Sophia Bissell died on 23 May 1868 at Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec, at age 63; Stanstead Journal. She was buried at Marlington Cemetery, Stanstead, Stanstead Co, Quebec.2,3
